Stress Management and Mindfulness Skills for Success and Happiness

Children with behavioural, learning or emotional difficulties often have problems that prevent them from interacting with their peers or achieving success. These problems cause emotional distress and confusion for children and adolescents. Often, this distress adversely impacts achievement at school.

At Psychology Works we provide an interdisciplinary approach to the mental health and well being of young people. Our summer program combines a therapeutic approach that is engaging and interactive.

Providing young people with the opportunity to grow their learning and social abilities through an interactive group process, children engage and confidentially communicate with each other. With practice, they are encouraged to take these skills out into their homes and communities.

Features of our program include:

  • mindfulness based meditation
  • therapeutic yoga
  • video modelling
